After a break from the financial industry during which he co-founded one of Germany’s first specialty coffee chains he returned to London to work on a longevity investments product and some bespoke specialty funding vehicles before founding Wittenborg Capital.
Before moving to the UK Thomas trained with Arthur Andersen, Copenhagen.He has served as CEO and board member at Commerzbank’s US broker-dealer unit Commerzbank Capital Markets Corp., headed the Emerging Markets Sales desk and managed the Brazilian investment banking subsidiary Dresdner Bank Brasil, S.A.

In the 11 years preceding WCL Simon was a Director responsible for equity sales into the Nordic Region at Renaissance Capital. A role that also included responsibility, shared with the banking team, for originating and closing some significant fund raising successes, including a number of hybrid debt/equity structures.
Prior to joining WCL Matt spent the previous 12 years working for Commerzbank AG serving in offices in the US, Brazil and UK, covering a multitude of investment bank disciplines.
